The Austin boys basketball team was able to hold off a second half push by Winona (1-5 overall, 0-5 Big Nine) to win 79-66 on the road Friday.

Moses Issa poured in 21 points to lead the Packers (6-0 overall, 5-0 Big Nine) and Tate Hebrink added 11 points and nine assists.

“Moses had a big game for us,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “It was his best offensive showing of the year, but we struggled a bit defensively. Winona’s always a tough place to play and they’ve got some skilled players.”
