Title: Information Systems Analyst-Tier 2 Technology-Shared Position within the Consortium

Reports to: Building Principals & Consortium Technology Director

Job Goals: Working under the direction of the Director of Technology and the Building Principals, the Information System Analyst will provide technology support services.

1. The Information Systems Analyst will work in a direct support role to the technology specialist assigned to each building. The Information Systems Analyst will not be primarily responsible for these duties but will provide training and assist the technology specialist in their success for supporting the following items:

I. Assisting with Formative (NWEA, FAST, MCA) testing

II. Computer Hardware and Software Installation

III. Print drivers Installation and Printing Problems

IV. Student Information System Support

V. District office business systems technical support

VI. Software Updates

VII. Computer Hardware Repair – Computer labs & Staff Computers

VIII. Staff Development

IX. 1:1 Initiatives – Student iPad and Laptop Setup

X. Teacher Software Support

XI. Computer Virus Removal

XII. Student Management System

2. The Information Systems Analyst provides the following services to each school building under the direct supervision of the Director of Technology:

I. Troubleshoots operations of the local area network

II. Maintains Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX servers

III. Maintains network switches and wireless networking equipment

IV. Installs, troubleshoots, and upgrades enterprise video surveillance systems

V. Installs, troubleshoots, and upgrades Shoretel VoIP phone systems

VI. Communicate with vendors and outside agencies as directed by technology director

VII. Manages, updates, and troubleshoots Microsoft Active Directory

VIII. Manages imaging solutions for each school building

IX. Troubleshoots Videoconferencing Equipment in each building
