The Austin boys hockey team lost to Owatonna (3-1 overall, 2-0 Big Nine) by a score of 5-2 in Riverside Arena Thursday.
The Packers (2-4 overall, 0-3 Big Nine) pulled to within 4-2 in the third period when Dylan Svoboda scored a goal, but the Huskies tallied three goals in the second.

Nick Smith iced the game for Owatonna when he scored with 4:22 left.
Tyler Hoban scored to tie the game at 1-1 in the first period, but Owatonna scored all three goals in the second period.
