Search is on for Miss Teen Mower County

The search has begun for the young woman who will be Miss Teen Mower County 2018.
Miss Teen Mower County is an ambassador for Mower County and will compete at the Miss Teen Minnesota Pageant on April 28 in the Wellstone Center in St. Paul.
The requirements to compete include being female between the ages of 13 to 18 and from Mower County. Contestants also must never have been married.

Teens will compete in the categories of personal interview, fitness wear, fun fashion wear and evening gown. There is no talent or swimsuit competition.
Miss Teen Minnesota will receive a prize package and college scholarship totaling $30,000 and the chance to represent Minnesota at the 2018 Miss Teen International pageant in Charleston, West Virginia, in July. The American Heart Association’s “Go for Red for Women” is the official Charity of the Minnesota Pageant.
The current reigning 2017 Miss Teen Minnesota is Devika Narayan of Plymouth, who speaks out on “Hope in Memories: Alzheimer’s Find Hope & Find a Cure!”
The entry deadline is Dec. 31.
