Bruins get shootout win

For the second night in a row the Austin Bruins found themselves needing a shootout to decide the contest with Coulee Region, however, unlike Friday’s 2-1 loss, the Bruins got win Saturday night, 3-2 at Riverside Arena.
The Bruins held a 2-1 lead into the third period after Evan Cholak scored on a tight angle to the right of Coulee goalie Emil Zetterquist, but Coulee’s Nick Bowman even the score at two at 6:15 in the third period.
Cholak secured the win with the shootout’s only goal.
Mads Soogard tallied 24 saves on the night.
