The Austin Bruins lost 2-1 to the Coulee Region Chill in a shootout on the road Friday.
The shootout came down to the seventh shot as Matt Hines was able to sink the game-winner for the Chill. The Bruins went 1-for-7 as Dante Zapata was their only player to score in the shoutout.

Austin had taken a 1-0 lead when Evan Cholak scored with 3:05 left in regulation but the Chill forced overtime when Andrew McGlynn scored with 17 seconds left in regulation.
Alex Schilling had 30 saves for Austin.
