Deloris “Dee” Reed, 79

Deloris Ruth (Roorda) Reed was born on March 21, 1938, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Gary and Bertha (DeVries) Roorda. She grew up and was raised in the Hollandale, Minnesota, area. She graduated from Albert Lea High School. On June 25, 1958, Dee was united in marriage to Robert Reed at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. To this union, four children were born, Gary, Kelly, Ann, and Mary.

Deloris was a member of the Conservative Congregational Church of Hollandale. She played organ for church services for many years, and served in other roles for the church. Dee had an in-home daycare for many years in Hollandale and Albert Lea – she enjoyed caring for all of those children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; both parents; mother and father in-law; and a brother, Richard Roorda.
