Convictions: Week of Oct. 8-Oct. 15

— Jennifer Faye Sabanish, 38, of Austin, under a stay of imposition, was sentenced to five years probation for third-degree burglary, a felony. She must serve 345 hours of community service, and follow several conditions.
— Jordan Tashawn Travis, 21, of Austin, was sentenced to a stayed prison term of 27 months for third-degree drug possession, three grams or more of heroin, a felony. He was also sentenced to a stayed jail term of 180 days in jail and must serve 20 years of probation. He must complete 340 hours of community service and meet a list of conditions.
— Michael Jonathan Vela, 30, of Des Moines, Iowa, was sentenced to a stayed prison term of 13 months for fifth-degree drug possession, and a stayed prison term of 15 months for storing methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child, both felonies and to served concurrently. He was also sentenced to stayed jail terms of 12 days, and five years probation on both counts. Vela will have to meet several conditions outlined in both sentences.
— Cynthia Ann Perzynski, 56, of Rose Creek, was sentenced to a stayed jail term of 365 days for fourth-degree assault/physically assaulting a police officer, a gross misdemeanor. She must serve one year of probation, follow several conditions, and pay $900 in fines.
— Sherie Renae Roland, 53, of Hayfield, was sentenced to a stayed prison term of 12 months and one day for fifth-degree drug possession, a felony. She must serve five years probation, meet a list of conditions and pay a $50 fine. She was also sentenced to a stayed jail term of 180 days for third-degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. She was sentenced to two years of probation, meet a list of conditions, and perform 55 hours of community service.
— Juan Vasquez Jr., 40, of Albert Lea, was sentenced to a stayed prison term of 17 months for fifth-degree possession of schedule 1, 2, 3, 4 – not small amount of marijuana. He must complete 40 hours of community service, meet a list of conditions and pay a $50 fine.
