Class for mental health advocates scheduled for Oct. 24

ALBERT LEA — The National Alliance on Mental Illness will hold a free class on grassroots advocacy for mental health advocates from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Albert Lea City Hall, 221 Clark St.
The workshop is designed to help local advocates understand how past legislative successes can be used to continue to build the mental health system.
Participants will learn strategies and look at some of the realities of working in their county and of making progress on building the mental health system throughout the state.
