Catholic Charities has organized a retreat on immigration from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in  St. Charles, Minnesota.

“This event is an opportunity for the Hispanic and long-term Minnesota residents to encounter each other as the face of Christ to one another,” said Tom Parlin of  Catholic Charities in a news release. “An important element of this retreat will be the use of microphones that will allow participants to have instant translation of talks that will be alternately in English and Spanish.  This is a chance for us to put a human face to the immigration issue.”
