Senior center offering Medicare seminar

At 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday the Mower County Senior Center will be hosting another Medicare ABCD’s class.

If you are turning 65 or going on Medicare, here is an opportunity for you to get the information you need. This class will cover the parts of Medicare, hospital, medical and drug options; including original/ traditional Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage plans, Part D prescription drug coverage and preventive benefits.

Also included is information about Medicare savings programs, drug assistance, preventing fraud, waste and abuse, and other resources to help you make informed decisions. Instructor is a certified State Health Insurance Program Counselor with the Senior LinkAge Line. Lunch at the Mower County Senior Center

You may not be old now, but if you’re lucky, one day you will be. We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center.

Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and sandwich for 50 cents. Don’t forget Tuesday is hotdish day. We are having tator tot hotdish for only $2. You are always welcome at the center. See you here.
