The LeRoy-Ostrander volleyball team didn’t back down as it beat Randolph (3-5 overall, 3-3 SEC) in five games by scores of 25-18, 19-25, 26-24, 20-25, 15-8 in LeRoy Tuesday.

The Cardinals (4-9 overall, 2-6 SEC) were on the verge of being down 2-1 in the match as they trailed the third game 22-18, but they bounced back to win it.

“When we got way behind, we fought back. They never gave up at all,” LO head coach Missy McElroy said. “With it being homecoming week, that kind of amplifies our enthusiasm.”
