The Austin volleyball team pushed it to a fourth game, but it wasn’t able to get further than that as it lost Winona (2-3 overall, 2-1 Big Nine) by scores of 25-15, 25-16, 15-25, 25-8 on the road Thursday.

Jordyn McCormack had five kills and seven blocks for the Packers (1-6 overall, 0-1 Big Nine).

“We played very, very well in the third game,” Austin head coach Cindy Owen said. “They didn’t know what to do with us in that third game. We just can’t find that level of consistency and we need to do that.”
