Austin Police are reminding people to lock their vehicles after cash and personal items were stolen from an unlocked SUV Wednesday morning.

Officers responded at 10:46 a.m. to  the 600 block of Third Street Northwest, Police Chief Brian Krueger said.

The victim told police that several items had been stolen from a Toyota 4Runner parked in the alley behind the house. The victim told police the vehicle was unlocked

The items stolen were two cell phone chargers, three pairs of Foster Grant sunglasses valued at $60 and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police have no suspects.
