Mower County Sheriff’s Department welcomes deputy

A new deputy has joined the Mower County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputy Tyler Scott Wilson was sworn in by Sheriff Terese Amazi at the Mower County Law Enforcement Center on Wednesday.
“I grew up in Austin, so it’s nice to be working back here,” Wilson said. “I worked for Albert Lea for the past year and a half and it’s nice to be back here in my home town and home county. I’m happy to be here.”
Wilson starts in an official capacity next week.
