Author Gail Kittleson will be the focus of a “meet and greet” tonight at Sweet Reads Books and Candy at 6:30 p.m., part of Austin’s ArtWorks Week.

Kittleson, the author of “Women of the Heartland” series, features heroines during the Greatest Generation era.

Kittleson, from St. Ansgar, Iowa, recently published “With Each New Dawn.”
