Police seek tips on garage burglary

Police are looking for information regarding a burglary Tuesday morning.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, police responded to an alarm at the 700 block of Sixth Avenue Southwest at 2:43 a.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived, they found the service door to the home’s garage had been forced open. There was damage to the doorjamb. No one was present in the garage.

The homeowner said that 29 cans of fusion spray paint, worth $10 each, and a magnum red flashlight were missing. Officers took photographs of the crime scene.

There are no suspects at this time.
