Jorge V. Sifuentes, 42, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his home.

He was born Oct. 2, 1974, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Jorge and Alicia (Iniguez) Sifuentes. Jorge spent most of his growing-up years in the United States and some in Mexico. He earned his Associates Degree in Science at Riverland Community College in Austin. Jorge worked as an inspector at Quality Pork Producers in Austin. He enjoyed attending church, watching movies and cooking out with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Sifuentes of Austin; his children, Michelle Sifuentes (Elpidio Daniel Orozco), Karla (Moises) Rodriguez, Jorge Sifuentes Jr., Azeneth Sifuentes, and Grako Sifuentes, all of Austin; one grandchild, Thaliya Orozco Sifuentes; his parents Jorge and Alicia Sifuentes of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Diana (Jacob) Romero and Liliana Sifuentes, both of Fort Worth; one brother, Edgar Sifuentes, also of Fort Worth; grandfather, Ignacio Sifuentes of Coahuila, Mexico; and his beloved bulldog.
