Check out the arts in Austin Living
If you haven’t already, we encourage you to check out the July-August edition of Austin Living.
This edition is a must-read for anyone interested in the arts, especially with an Austin twist.
The issue is our annual arts edition leading into the Austin ArtWorks Festival Aug. 26 and 27. A big part of that is Austin Expression, our annual literary magazine published in Austin Living.
This year, we had another great collection of art and literature penned by Mower County residents.
We shared art by people like Sally Walcott, Tim Rietz, Mark Lingl, Tim Ruzek and Matt Freechack, along with written pieces by Tim J. Brennan, Pat Garbisch, Sue Doocy, Kacie Huggan and Lillian Fetterly.
Then we also interviewed three talented people — Theodore Rasmussen, Jon Kittleson and Terri Bergstrom — to see how much simple creative endeavors have meant to their lives.
We hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed producing it. You can grab a free copy of Austin Living at the Herald, 310, Second St. NE.
