Second person dies of burns suffered in Le Sueur County fire
LE SUEUR — A second person has died this week in Minneapolis of burns suffered in an explosion and fire last month in southern Minnesota.
Steven C. Strohn, 54, of Omaha, Neb., died Friday at Hennepin County Medical Center.
He and his mother, Joann L. Strohn, 80, of Des Moines, Iowa, were taken to HCMC’s burn unit after a gas leak caused a fire and explosion May 21 at a cabin where they were staying on Lake Jefferson in Elysian Township, in Le Sueur County.
