Patricia L. Peterson, 80

Patricia L. Peterson, 80, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at her home.

Patricia was born July 4, 1936, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Reynold Pederson and Avis (Hanson). She attended Albert Lea public schools. She was united in marriage to Harvey Reb who died at an early age. She then was married to Donald R. Peterson. Patricia lived in Austin, Minnesota, for many years, moving back to Albert Lea in 1987. She had been employed for a time at Land-O-Lakes, then with Tyson Foods in quality control for over 30 years retiring in 1999.

Patricia loved feeding and watching birds, yard work, crossword puzzles and adult color books. She had a great passion for reading and loved reading her Bible.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Allan Reb of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Timothy Peterson of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; grandchildren, Jeremy Forrester, Jeremiah Reb and Sarah Reb; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Josiah and Jaxson Reb; one brother, David (Nancy) Pederson of Clarks Grove, Minnesota; one sister, Susan (Mark) Evenson of Alden, Minnesota; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harvey Reb and Donald Peterson; sons, Jerome Scott Reb and Randall Reb; stepfather, Reynold Pederson; and her grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the West Freeborn Lutheran Church rural Albert Lea. Pastor Steve Schwartz will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the West Freeborn Cemetery.
