American Legion Spam Post 570 would like to congratulate the Spam Museum for the wonderful First Thursdays event on June 1 2017, hosting an amazing car show with almost 50 vehicles, the fabulous music of Denny and the DC Drifters to enjoy and dance to, and delicious Spam Sliders to munch on. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere relaxed and inviting, and the crowds of people wandering around had a great time. It was pretty much a perfect beginning to summer.

We would further like to sincerely thank the Spam Museum for its generous donation of the proceeds from the Spam Sliders (and a special bravo to the Spambassadors who worked so hard over the hot grill to provide those treats for all!).

With Spam Post 570 just getting started again, these funds will function as an important starting point in our programs supporting the Austin community. Thank you again!
