The Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team opened up its season with a 3-2 win over Winona on the road Tuesday.

Alex Ciola picked up the pitching win for Austin (1-0 overall) in relief and he scored the game-winning run on an RBI groundout by Riley Retterath in the top of the eighth inning.
