Webber tosses a shutout for Rebels against Saint Charles

Southland senior Chris Webber had a dominant day on the mound as he picked up a pair of wins when the Rebels swept Saint Charles (10-6 overall, 9-5 Three Rivers) in a doubleheader in Adams Friday. Southland won 2-0 in the opener and it took the nightcap 6-4.
Webber struck out 10 as he picked up a one-hit shutout in the opener and he pitched two innings of relief to get the win in the nightcap.
Bret Matthews knocked in a pair of runs for Southland (7-8 overall, 7-8 Three Rivers) in the opener and Webber had two RBIs in the nightcap.
