The Blooming Prairie baseball team lost to United South Central (7-4 overall, 5-2 Gopher) 12-4 on the road Monday.

The Awesome Blossoms (2-10 overall, 1-7 Gopher) left the bases loaded twice without scoring a run and their pitchers allowed a combined eight walks and 10 hit batters in the loss.

“We’ve got to score runners when we get them in scoring position and we’re walking too many guys right now,” BP head coach Matt Kittelson said.
