Southbound Rollers on the roll again

Get ready for some fast-paced skating action as the Minnesota Southbound Rollers kick off their season against the Skunk River Riot on Saturday.

According to team member Stephanie “Blaze” Blaser, most of the 13 active members are returning veterans. However, there are three new “fresh meat” players on this year’s roster.

One of the players to watch this season is Carley “DEAFiler” Carranza, a blocker/jammer whom Blaser describes as “fierce” and who has “the best footwork out there.” Another player to watch is Marie “Loca” Karow, another blocker/jammer who says she will be “tearing up the track on Saturday.”
