Packer softball team beats Wingers

The Austin softball team closed out its regular season with a 6-3 win over Red Wing (2-18 overall, 1-14 Big Nine) on the road Friday.
Tori Gardner picked up the win in the circle for the Packers (7-13 overall, 4-12 Big Nine).

Austin finished 10th out of 12 teams in the Big Nine and it will open the Section 1AAA tournament 5 p.m. Wednesday.
