Lyle-Pacelli beat Houston (4-7 overall, 2-4 SEC) 5-4 in eight innings in Todd Park Thursday.

Anna Kollar had three hits for LP (3-5 overall, 3-5 SEC) and Faith King scored the game-winning run in the eighth inning.

“This was a great team win,” LP head coach Jeff Yocom said. “We’ve had a few players out for various reasons and the girls stepped in and got the job done. They’ve been working hard in practice and it paid off.”
