Blooming Prairie baseball team drops regular season finale to Medford

The Blooming Prairie baseball team closed out its regular season with a 6-1 loss to Medford (5-13 overall) in BP Monday.
The Awesome Blossoms (4-15 overall) trailed just 1-0 after five innings, but the Tigers were able to take advantage of multiple BP errors in the last two frames to pull away.

Sophomore Ian Wayne allowed just one earned run in seven innings in his varsity pitching debut for BP, which will open up the Section 1A West tournament at Southland 5 p.m. Thursday.
