The Southland softball team showed some positive signs at the plate as it lost 9-3 to Dover-Eyota (1-2 overall, 1-2 Three Rivers) on the road Tuesday.

The Rebels (0-5 overall, 0-5 Three Rivers) had a season-high five extra base hits in the loss and Brianna Johnson was two-for-three with a triple and a double.
