The Austin baseball team ran into a tough opposing pitcher as they lost 7-0 to Red Wing (3-3 overall, 3-1 Big Nine) on the road Tuesday.

The Packers (2-4 overall, 2-2 Big Nine) mustered just one hit in the loss.

β€œWe were one-hit tonight by their ace,” Austin head coach Joe Kroc said. β€œHe was very effective hitting spots and mixing speeds. We came out flat and were down early. Several players battled and hat good at-bats but we just didn’t find the barrel enough to put pressure on them.”
