Baseball: FBA rallies past Blooming Prairie

The Blooming Prairie baseball team lost 7-6 to Faribault Bethlehem Academy (3-6 overall, 3-4 Gopher) in Faribault Monday.
BP led 6-3 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, but FBA scored four runs in the final frame to get the win. The Awesome Blossoms (1-5 overall, 1-3 Gopher) committed a seventh inning error that allowed FBA to score the winning run.
BP left 10 runners on base in the loss.
“It’s great that we’re competing and in a position to win, but we’ve got to learn to score when we have runners in scoring position and we’ve got to close out games,” BP head coach Matt Kittelson said.
