State swimming: Packers land three top-10 finishes

The Austin boys swimming and diving team had three top-10 finishes at the Minnesota Class A state swimming and diving meet in the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis Saturday.
Riley Norton took ninth in diving for the Packers, Mitch Mayer took 10th in the 50-yard freestyle and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Rafe Dolan Peterson, Mayer, Ethan Thompson and Christopherson took 10th.
As a team, Austin finished 17th out of 33 teams with a team score of 39. Breck-Blake won the team title with a 349.5.

200-freestyle: Isaac Christopherson (14th, 1:48.06); 50-freestyle: Mitch Mayer (10th, 21.92); diving: Riley Norton (ninth, 327.50); 100-butterfly: Mayer (11th, 53.70); 400-freestyle relay: Rafe Dolan Peterson, Mayer, Ethan Thompson, Christopherson (10th, 3:19.44)
