Rochester Mayo girls top Austin

The Austin girls basketball team lost 46-40 to Rochester Mayo (19-6 overall, 18-3 Big Nine) in Ove Berven Gym Tuesday.

The Packers (11-13 overall, 10-11 Big Nine) were within 41-40 with 2:30 left in the game, but Mayo put the game away at the free throw line.

Amber Hansen had 10 points and five assists for the Packers.
