The Austin gymnastics team finished its conference season unbeaten when it finished first in the Mankato triangular Thursday.

The Packers posted a score of 145.275 to edge out Mankato West, which had a 144.35. Mankato East had a 121.775.

The No. 4 ranked Packers will compete in the Big Nine meet Feb. 11 and they will compete in the Section 1A tournament Feb. 18.

“The girls have been working really hard in the gym and that dedication has been paying off,” Austin head coach Matt Schmit said. “We as coaches have enjoyed working with the team this year and believe the girls are focused.”
