The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team lost to Granada-Huntley-ECTML (21-4 overall) 66-64 on the road Tuesday.

LP (19-6 overall) had two turnovers in the last 48 seconds and GHECTML took the lead when it hit a three-pointer to go up 66-64. LP’s Kendal Truckenmiller missed a game-winning three-pointer as time expired.

“Both teams kept making plays,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “It felt like every time they made a play, we would come down and make a play. We had them in position to finish the deal, we’ve just got to learn how to close out these big games.”
