The following students from the area have received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor’s Award for the fall 2016 semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Jerome Green (business administration/hotel, restaurant and tourism) and Sarah Studley (dietetics), both from Austin, earned the honor. Caley Kiser of Waltham (psychology) was also a recipient.
University of Wisconsin-Madison
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester.
Sean Baker, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences; Maxwell Brennan, College of Engineering, was named to the Dean’s honors list.
University of Minnesota-Morris
Issac Kosak received a bachelor of arts degree in computer science during ceremonies held recently at the University of Minnesota-Morris.
Minnesota State University, Morris
The following students earned a spot on the fall semester Dean’s List at the University of Minnesota, Morris:
Brittany Folk, Austin, elementary inclusive education; Kelsey Klug, Austin, art education; and Tess Mayer, St. Ansgar, Iowan, communications.
University of St. Thomas
The following students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul:
Sean Coffey, Jordan Cotter, Braden Kocer and Haley Splinter, all of Austin.
St. Olaf College
Ethan Johnson of Austin has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse
The following students completed degree requirements at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in December. The 52nd annual Midyear Commencement was held at the La Crosse Center Sunday, Dec. 18.
