The Leroy-Ostrander boys basketball team picked up its second straight win when it beat Madelia (1-20 overall) 49-42 on the road Saturday.

Trey Hungerholt and Riley Olson each had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Cardinals (6-15 overall). LO, which battled a lot of foul trouble in the first half, had 21 steals in the win.

“We played hard and we caused turnovers,” LO head coach Trevor Carrier said.
