The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball team is starting to click at the right time.

The Cardinals avenged an earlier loss to Mabel-Canton and they won their third straight game for the first time since 2008 when they topped the Cougars (7-16 overall, 6-11 SEC) 76-46 in LeRoy Monday.

Trey Hungerholt racked up 23 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and five steals for the Cardinals (7-15 overall, 3-11 SEC).

“We’re playing extremely well on defense and it was a very good team effort,” LO head coach Trevor Carrier said.
