Freelance photographer and public speaker Doug Ohman is taking tour of 22 locations throughout the SELCO region late February through early April.

Ohman’s work has been published in magazines, calendars and books that includes the book series, “Minnesota Byways.”

Each program focuses on one aspect of Minnesota history from the early days of statehood through today.

Three of these stops include towns surrounding Austin.

At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 Ohman will be stopping in LeRoy at the LeRoy Community Center. The program will titled, “Going to Work — The New Deal in Minnesota.”

At 6:30 p.m. on March 9 he will be in Brownsdale at the Brownsdale Public Library, discussing “Minnesota’s Byways.”

At 6:30 p.m. on March 30, Blooming Prairie Public Library will host Ohman presenting “Going to Work —The New Deal in Minnesota.”
