Albert Lea wrestlers take down Packers

The Austin wrestling team lost its final home regular season dual as it lost to Albert Lea (21-8 overall, 8-1 Big Nine) 57-21 in Ove Berven Gym Thursday.
Austin (10-8 overall, 5-4 Big Nine) won the last four matches of the night as Jackson Hample, Corey Waller and Eli Marks picked up pins and Caleb Tapp had a 9-6 win.
“Albert Lea is a good team and we did a nice job of fighting and staying in good position,” Austin head coach Jer Osgood said. “It was a positive note to win those last four matches.”
