Police reported that the Tobacco Store, located on the 1000 block of 18th Avenue Northwest in Austin, was burglarized early Friday.

Authorities were alerted by an alarm at 3:25 a.m. and upon arrival at the store, found the front lobby glass broken.

“The store had been thoroughly gone through,” said Police Chief Brian Krueger.

The investigation continues, he said. No details of what was taken were released. There are no suspects at this time, he added.
