Ingvaldson

Marian was born Sept. 29, 1931, in Westfield Township, Dodge County, Minnesota to John and Ida (Olstad) Hensrud. She attended Westfield Country School. Marian married her sweetheart Lawrence Ingvaldson on Feb. 24, 1951. Together the couple had two sons. She farmed alongside her husband, and handled the books with great detail. Marian loved to keep up with current news and events. She was a very generous and caring person, and overcame many health obstacles during her lifetime. Her love of the outdoors drew her to gardening, tending to her flowers and taking care of the lawn. Marian also loved birds, especially ducks and cardinals, not to mention her love of cats, and was an excellent cook. Her other hobbies included playing cards (500 and Hand & Foot), sewing, handiwork, and taking casino trips, where she especially enjoyed the slot machines and the buffet. Marian moved to Field Crest Care Center in November 2016.
