The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team had to dig deep to get past Alden-Conger (2-14 overall) 66-62 in Lyle Monday.

The Athletics (7-9 overall) were playing their third game in four days, which meant they had to rely on their full roster to get the job done. LP head coach Scott Koenigs used 12 players to keep his starters fresh for the final stretch.

Kamis Kuku led LP with 23 points and 10 rebounds for LP and Trinity Anderson had 13 points and 10 assists.

“We just kept our composure down the stretch,” LP head coach Scott Koenigs said. “We came out a little sluggish and we knew it was game three of a three game series so we let the younger guys play a little bit earlier on.”
