Authorities continue to investigate a drive-by shooting in Lyle on Dec. 24.

Lyle Police Chief Tom Herrick on Tuesday confirmed that a shooting had taken place in a residential neighborhood and is working with the Mower County Sheriff’s Department on the case.

According to Mower County Sheriff Therese Amazi, three bullets were fired into the Colonial Apartments; two were found in an apartment and a third in the attic of the buildingd.

No one was injured.
