The Austin Police Department wrote 38 citations Wednesday which resulted in 22 cars being towed, reported chief Brian Krueger.

Sixteen owners moved their cars before being towed.

More were expected to be cited on Thursday.

Krueger reminded citizens that cars need to be moved off streets during snow emergencies and more snow is expected on Friday and Saturday.
