The Hayfield boys basketball team lost 45-35 to Goodhue (3-0 overall, 2-0 HVL) in Hayfield Friday.

The Vikings (0-3 overall, 0-1 HVL) used an 8-0 run to take a 31-23 lead early in the first half, but the Wildcats closed the game out on a 22-4 run.
