County board to hold final meeting of 2016, will set salaries; Will also hear department updates

Mower County is closing out 2016 by looking ahead to 2017.
The county board will hold its last meeting of 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the basement board room of the Mower County Government Center, 201 First St. NE.
The county is scheduled to set the 2017 salaries for elected offices, including the county’s attorney, sheriff, recorder, auditor-treasurer and commissioners.
It will also set the pay adjustment for non-union employees.
In other business, the board will hear updates from Community Health and Human Resources Director Sherry Roth, discuss a $4 credit card processing fee for Recorder’s Office data search requests, and discuss Mower County Public Works Works department payments.
