Salvation Army serves up meals

The Austin Salvation Army will serve a free Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at its community enter at 409 First Ave. NE in Austin for Thanksgiving.
The corps also does some delivery of meals to those who cannot travel to the site.
No registration is required and all are welcome.
The Salvation Army also gave out more 240 meal packets earlier this week to families that had applied for a Thanksgiving meal.
