The Austin girls hockey team lost to Rochester Mayo 4-1 in Riverside Arena Tuesday.
The Spartans (1-3 overall, 1-2 Big Nine) scored a pair of goals in the first eight minutes of the second period to take a 3-0 lead.

Hannah McMasters scored the lone goal for the Packers (1-4 overall, 1-2 Big Nine) on an assist from Claire Olson and Faith Sayles had 30 saves.
Austin had 26 shots on goal.
